This page will serve as a "Notice Board" for any members of the RCE Network to catch up on current events. Unless specified otherwise, the options here are not limited to Members, so please do encourage others in your network to support the movement in whatever ways they are able to.
Opportunities available:
- Sign the Declaration of Child Rights-Centric Education (Review Declaration here, then Sign here). It helps spread the word if you can post on Social Media (perhaps sharing these posts on LinkedIn, Facebook and X) and/or using this Press Release (you may modify as required for your context, also available in Word format) and/or emailing your contacts (this email from Radical Learning is a great example)
- (For RCE Members only) Support the nomination of RCE Founding Member Wendy Hendrickse for a place on the National Education and Training Committee (NETC) of just 15 advisers to the South African Minister of Basic Education. This is an opportunity for Wendy to advocate for Rights-Centric Education at national level, and can set an important precedent for other countries as well.
