If you are interested in supporting the RCE Quality Assurance System but do not qualify to be a Participant (e.g. you are an Academic/Researcher who does not directly work with Children in realising their Right to Education, you are retired, you have expertise in a different area that you wish to contribute, etc.) you can support the QAS as an Advisor. Please write to network@rights-centric.education
This could be in terms of
- Supporting participants on documenting their work in ways that highlight alignment with Children's Rights (If you have experience in Child Rights, Law, etc.)
- Helping maintain the software to host the RCE QAS (if you have an IT background)
- Making the QAS easier to use (e.g. how can a participant easily find other participants who can support them in their needs?)
- Supporting participants to implement Rights-Centric practices
- Outreach to get more Participants
- Outreach to reach relevant UN/international organizations/NGOs, policy-makers, national Human Rights institutions, etc.
How advisors will engage is not defined yet, but we expect that
- They will promote the RCE QAS to their networks
- They will contribute their ideas by
- contributing to discussions on the RCE Discord Server
- Joining on-line meetings (perhaps every quarter) to review the progress of the RCE QAS
- For those who are not able to commit to the above, submit suggestions by email that will be taken up on the Discord Server or on-line meetings
