RCE QAS Advisors

If you are interested in supporting the RCE Quality Assurance System but do not qualify to be a Participant (e.g. you are an Academic/Researcher who does not directly work with Children in realising their Right to Education, you are retired, you have expertise in a different area that you wish to contribute, etc.) you can support the QAS as an Advisor. Please write to network@rights-centric.education

This could be in terms of

  1. Supporting participants on documenting their work in ways that highlight alignment with Children's Rights (If you have experience in Child Rights, Law, etc.)
  2. Helping maintain the software to host the RCE QAS (if you have an IT background)
  3. Making the QAS easier to use (e.g. how can a participant easily find other participants who can support them in their needs?)
  4. Supporting participants to implement Rights-Centric practices
  5. Outreach to get more Participants
  6. Outreach to reach relevant UN/international organizations/NGOs, policy-makers, national Human Rights institutions, etc.

How advisors will engage is not defined yet, but we expect that

  1. They will promote the RCE QAS to their networks
  2. They will contribute their ideas by
    1. contributing to discussions on the RCE Discord Server
    2. Joining on-line meetings (perhaps every quarter) to review the progress of the RCE QAS
    3. For those who are not able to commit to the above, submit suggestions by email that will be taken up on the Discord Server or on-line meetings
